CHENNAI: Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Cold wave conditions prevailed over Telangana and north interior Karnataka.

The minimum temperature fell appreciably at a few places over Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over north interior Karnataka, fell at a few places over rest north interior Karnataka and rest Tamil Nadu, rose appreciably at one or two places over south interior Karnataka, rose at one or two places over rest south interior Karnataka, Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little elsewhere over the region.

FORECAST (valid until Tuesday morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Cold wave warning: Cold wave condition is likely to prevail over Telangana and north interior Karnataka during next two days.
