Repertoire Dogs... and more from Saarang

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI : The `Repertoire Dogs' newsletter is a pretty neat effort by "Saarang 2006" editorial team, with plenty of exciting nuggets and slices of life from the festival like the `Quote Unquote' section that was brought back on Saturday's issue on demand by junta.

Sample this:

"Day three, and I'm still single," — the average, ubiquitous IITian.

"You may not be my bride. You may not be my wife. But you will always be an integral part of my life," — a pickup line at Blind Date.

Caption contest

Talking of pick-up lines, Sulekha.com had plenty of them during one of the three contests it organised on http://saarang.sulekha.com.

One's a blogging contest, the other was for the best opening lines and dumping lines and the third is a photo-caption contest where participants can click a picture, give a caption and send it in as an entry.

So, if you get bored on the last day of the festival, you know what to do.
