People in the district asked to utilise the opportunity

NAMAKKAL: Rajya Sabha MP S. Anbazhgan inaugurated the exhibition and rural youth sports festival at the Namakkal Panchayat Union here on Sunday.

Speaking at the function, he said people in the district should utilise this opportunity to know about various assistance schemes of the State Government and improve their socio-economic condition by seeking benefit under a suitable scheme.

Particularly people in the underdeveloped areas such as Kolli Hills, Mallasamudram and Elachipalaym should take full advantage of these exhibitions.

Members of the self-help groups (SHG) from these areas could participate in large numbers and enhance their living standard, he added.
