Exim Bank signs MoU with CARE

CHENNAI: The Export Import Bank of India and CARE India, a voluntary organisation working in the Tsunami belt in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh,on Monday signed a memorandum of cooperation for promotion of rural export products made by self-help groups (SHGs). Exim Bank will offer expertise for scaling up and adding value to the products of SHGs to enable them to stage an entry into overseas markets, display select SHG products at its overseas offices and offer help in identifying buyers/partnersin India on export inquiries generated by the bank, says an Exim Bank release.
