Agreement on Khokhrapar-Monabao train today

ISLAMABAD: India and Pakistan are to sign an agreement on Tuesday for commencement of the Khokhrapar-Monabao rail route linking Sindh with Rajasthan.

A 12-member Indian delegation led by General Manager, Indian Railways, Ashok Gupta commenced two-day talks here on Monday with the Pakistani delegation led by Additional General Manager, Pakistan Railways, Mushtaq Jadoon to formalise the pact.

At the last meeting between the two sides in New Delhi early this year it was agreed to revive the rail service from February 1.

However the inaugural run is now expected on February 15.
