Power shutdown

Power supply will be affected between 10 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. on Tuesday due to maintenance work in K.G. Halli, Midayath Nagar, Mukthi Nagar and surrounding areas of Venkateshpura O and M unit limits, Dhobi Ghat, Yasin Nagar, Teachers' Colony, HBR 2nd block, Elite Leather Factory and surrounding areas, Cooke Town, Hutchins Road 1st to 6th Cross, Viviani Road, Hall Road, Richards Town, Wheeler Road Extension, and Banaswadi Main Road, according to the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company.

Ikebana training

The Mysore Horticultural Society will conduct a four-day training in "Thai art" (banana leaf folding) from February 8 at 11 a.m. It will also conduct a month's course in Ikebana arrangement from February 6 at 2.30 p.m. at the Dr M.H. Yoga camp

Lecture on vaastu

Workshop for teachers

The Karnataka State Secondary Teachers' Association will conduct a day's workshop on "The impact of globalisation on education" for high school teachers of Bangalore North district at MEC High School in Yelahanka on Tuesday.
