This Day That Age
The Srisailam Temple, situated about 1,500 feet above the sea-level in the dense Nallamala forests, hitherto inaccessible except by foot, was connected with a jeepable road on Republic Day. A 32-mile road connecting Srisailam with Dornakal on the Kurnool-Guntur Trunk Road has now been laid.
