MLA on religious and lineage factors

K.V. Thomas, Ernakulam MLA, a former teacher, looks back to religious and lineage factors that shaped his faith in his latest book Ammayum Makanum.

He proclaims his deep faith in Christianity, and states that he could become secular in his attitude and outlook owing to a staunch belief in Christianity, which preached to the world to love one's brethren like oneself.

In a way, this book is also part of a religious introspection of the writer, who cites personal examples to show how religious faith helped him overcome a series of crises, both personal and political, that he had faced.
