Three-point dip in Consumer Index

SHIMLA: The All India Consumer Price Index number for Industrial Workers (base 1982-100) declined by three points to 550 in December 2005. The fall in the index was attributed to a decline in prices of vegetables, groundnut, onions and vegetables and fruits. The index had decreased by four points in December 2004.
