Kerala women triumph

KOCHI: Kerala defeated Karnataka 29-20, 29-21 and won the senior National ball badminton women's title for the eighth successive time in Bhilai.

Two Kerala players, B. Sandhya and N.S. Preetha (both NSS College, Changanassery), were among those adjudged `Stars of India.' Tamil Nadu won the men's title, beating Karnataka 29-22, 29-16.
