Who can brew the best coffee?

Bangalore: Since Monday, an event has been taking place in Bangalore, known more to those closely involved with coffee in its delectable forms.

The India Barista Championship is on at the Forum Mall, promoted by the Speciality Coffee Association of India. The Baristas from all over the country will do their best to show their creations of hot and cold coffee and exotic but coffee-based beverages.

India's coffee growers are just beginning to adjust to the global market fluctuations, and building the India coffee brand helps. Karnataka accounts for well over two-thirds of the coffee grown in the country.

Finals

The finalist in the Barista Championship will go on to compete in the international event to be held later.
