Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD:
The Commissioner's Task Force officials on Monday busted an alleged homosexual racket being operated in the guise of a massage centre at Begumpet.
The prime accused, K.V.N. Murthy alias Rohit, 27, running the centre and his accomplices working as masseurs -- Mohd. Nayeemuddin Khan, 20, and Syed Imran Ali, 19 -- were taken into custody. Police said Murthy used to attract men to his centre christened Kasa Enterprises in the garb of body massage, but used to carry out unnatural acts.
The clients included students, professionals and loners. "Some of them were well educated and hailed from wealthy families," police said.
During interrogation, Murthy reportedly confessed to police that he got addicted to the habit while studying in a residential school at Vijayawada. Son of a Government engineer, he came to city subsequently.
He ventured into computer spare parts business but suffered losses.
Later, he allegedly opened the massage centre and began making money.
A case under section 377 (unnatural offences) was booked against the trio.
