BANGALORE: The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will launch Volvo bus services from Wednesday. According to a press release from the BMTC, initially two Volvo buses will run between Kempegowda bus station and Electronics City on route number 356 C. The buses will have 10 scheduled stops at Cauvery Bhavan, Bangalore City Corporation, Shanthinagar bus terminus, Lakkasandra, Muneshwara Temple, St. John's Hospital, Madivala, Bommanahalli, Garvebavipalya and Konappana Agrahara. The one-way fare from Kempegowda bus station to Electronics City is Rs. 30 and the minimum fare is Rs. 10. The departure timings of the buses are as follows: from Kempegowda bus station: 7 a.m., 7.30 a.m., 9.30 a.m., 10 a.m., 12.25 p.m., 12.55 p.m., 2.55 p.m. 3.25 p.m., 5.50 p.m. and 6.20 p.m.; from Electronics City: 8.15 a.m., 8.45 a.m., 11.10 a.m., 11.40 a.m., 1.40 p.m., 2.10 p.m., 4.35 p.m., 5.05 p.m. 7.05 p.m. and 7.30 p.m., according to the release.
