CPI(M) blockade not to affect IT fair

Staff Reporter

KOCHI: The CPI(M) will stage a blockade in front of the Collectorate on Wednesday as part of its agitation against the "anti-people" policies of the Government.

Organising committee secretary C.K. Pareed assured that the blockade would not disrupt traffic to the Infopark or cause any disruption to the IT fair being held there.

The agitation would be conducted without blocking traffic on the road leading to the Infopark or the Seaport -Airport Road in front of the western gate.

The buses plying till Kakkanad will stop service at the Panchayat Bus Stand. There will be no blockade on the Irumpanam - Kalamassery route also.

The blockade will start at 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
