Letters to the Editor
As a regular reader of The Hindu , I find that criticism of the BJP gets more than its fair share in the editorial columns these days. The statement that the NDA is an impatient liberaliser is not borne out of facts. "Made in Jhandewalan" (editorial, Feb. 1) runs along the same lines and gives the impression that the BJP is falling apart while, in fact, the party has done pretty well in the past 12 months and is showing signs of regaining its cohesion under a new president.
Arun Srinivas,
* * * Another editorial full of rhetoric without any objective evaluation, but with the avowed intention of maintaining the periodical BJP-bashing.
S. Thyagarajan,
