Letters to the Editor
Nothing seems to be going smooth for Karnataka. First came the developments leading to the collapse of the Dharam Singh Government. Now chances of another crisis have been created because of the limited ministerial posts.
Farah Salim,
* * * A JD (S)-BJP Government under the leadership of H.D. Kumaraswamy already seems to be on slippery ground. His newfound dilemma on whether or not to lead the Government has made things dicey. With Deve Gowda making it clear that he will not support the coalition, it looks like mid-term polls are a strong possibility.
E. Sivasanakaran,
* * * Mr. Gowda seems to be hopeful of the return of the prodigal son to the JD (S)-Congress fold but the chances are few and far between. The pull of the Chief Minister's post is such that all other issues pale into insignificance.
P.U. Krishnan,
