Coast Guard magazine's Hindi version released

CHENNAI: Pondicherry Lieutenant Governor M.M. Lakhera released the Hindi version of the coast guard magazine on Wednesday, the Coast Guard Day. He interacted with officers at the Coast Guard Eastern Region headquarters here.

Rajendra Singh, Commander, Coast Guard Region (East), and C.G. Yadav, CSO, explained the activities of the force in the past year. Among those who participated were Chief Secretary N. Narayanan, Naval Officer in Charge T. Hari, Officers Training Academy Commandant K.K. Kohli, the former CG Eastern Region Commander, U. Chitnavis, NCC Deputy Director P.P. Singh and Chennai Circle Defence Estates Officer Alok Gupta. Coast Guard also organised an exhibition on its multifarious roles.
