Allahabad: The Allahabad High Court on Wednesday dismissed a writ petition filed by Murtaza Ali and others seeking permission to meet in jail the four accused in the last year's Ayodhya terrorist attack. Claiming that they were relatives of the detainees, the petitioners, all residents of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, had challenged the action of authorities at Central Jail, Naini, who were not permitting them or their counsel to meet Asif Ikbal, Shakil Ahmad, Mohd. Masim and Mohd Azeez. A Division Bench comprising Justices Amitav Lala and Shiv Shanker refused to interfere in the matter saying ``court cannot loss sight of the threat perception in the country.''
