Rajahmundry: The newly elected national general secretary of the All India Agricultural Labourers Association (AIALA), Dheerendra Jha, said that the spirit of Telangana, Srikakulam and Naxalbari will come true once again with the political strength of agricultural workers and the rural poor. In a statement released on Wednesday, narrating the outcome of the just concluded All India conference of AIALA held in Rajahmundry, he said that the organised strength of the rural poor would thwart the nexus between politicians, bureaucrats and contractors. He said that scam-scandal ridden political system of the country can be changed only through a revolutionary peasant movement. Mr. Jha called on the Left and other democratic forces to come together for the release of all political prisoners.
