Dry weather likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

The minimum temperature fell at one or two places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, rose appreciably at one or two places over north interior Karnataka, rose at one or two places over Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were markedly below normal at one or two places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, appreciably below normal at most places over south interior Karnataka, at a few places over north interior Karnataka, at one or two places over coastal Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, below normal at many places over rest Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over rest coastal Andhra Pradesh, rest Telangana, Kerala and were generally normal over rest of the region.

FORECAST (valid until Saturday morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Outlook: Sunny weather.
