Jubilee fete

Government College Mokeri in Kozhikode district, which is celebrating its Silver Jubilee, was set up in 1981. A. Kanaran, former MLA, initiate efforts to establish a college to impart education to the marginalised sections of rural Kozhikode. Governor R.L. Bhatia who inaugurated the jubilee fete of the college on Wednesday lauded the efforts of the teachers and students. He said every education institution needed to be nerve centres of vibrant activities for the new generation.
