Easy for Thanjavur

THANJAVUR: Thanjavur scored a 4-1 win over Nagapattinam in the regional-level hockey tournament here on Thursday. Julius scored twice while Karthik and Alex netted one goal each for the winning side. In the other matches of the day, Cuddalore defeated Thiruvarur 3-2, Perambalur edged out Pudukottai 5-3 and Thanjavur beat Cuddalore 7-0.
