VISAKHAPATNAM: Big Bazar here has announced a "unique'' offer, "Bring anything old and take something new!'' In the offer on from Saturday, one can take anything old and get something new.
Exchange
In exchange for the old "raddi'' like newspapers, old clothes or an old toilet seat, customers will be given coupons based on the rate fixed by the Big Bazar in advance. The customer has to shop for four times the value of the coupon before the due date, redeeming it against apparel, plastics, utensils, linen, luggage, footwear, toys, furniture, etc.
Price fixed
Big Bazar has fixed the price per kg of old material like clothes (Rs.200), newspapers (Rs.25), platics/utensils/leather goods (Rs.75), footwear/luggage (Rs.100), PET/beer bottles (Rs.15), tyres (Rs.50) and furniture (Rs.75). "The offer is one more initiative in adding value.

It will help the housewife clear out the junk and get good value for it,'' says Sanjeev Agarwal, president (Marketing), Pantaloon Retail (India) Ltd.
