Kozhikode: Dr. Farhan Ahmad Nizami, Director of the Oxford Centre of Islamic Studies, will deliver a lecture on The necessity for pluralism: An Islamic perspective at the Calicut Tower on February 6 evening. Dr. Nizami is on a three-day visit to the city as guest of the Chair for Islamic Studies and Research, Calicut University. He will speak on the topic The role of History: An Islamic perspective. The lecture will be held at the Seminar Complex at 10 a.m. on February 7.
