Ghulam Ali to perform at fete

KOZHIKODE: A number of noted musicians and dancers will perform at the 10th Malabar Mahotsavam to be held here from February 9 to 12.

Ghazal exponent Ghulam Ali will perform for the first time in the South at the main venue on the beach on February 12.

The main venue will also witness a `jugalbandhi' of Ronu Mazumdar (West Bengal) on the flute and Rafeeq Khan (Mangalore) on the sitar, on Thursday, February 9.

A kathak recital by Shobha Narayanan and party (New Delhi), will follow.

On February 10, carnatic music recitals, dance programmes, folk art forms, drama, and literary festivals will be conducted.
