Medical students make poster presentation

GULBARGA: The pre-final year students of MBBS in Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College here on Friday made a poster presentation on health, family medicine and personal hygiene.

This is said to be the first such poster presentation by MBBS students of the college.

The subjects covered included breast feeding, blood donation, maternal and child healthcare, immunisation, filaria, malaria, tuberculosis, sexually transmitted diseases, AIDS and HIV, hospital waste management, family planning, disaster management, importance of Vitamin A and low-cost nutritious food.

All the posters were made by students with the help of photographs.
