GUNTUR: An eight-year-old girl Devi Kumari died on Friday after suffering from a mysterious fever for about four days. The parents said many children in the Bongaralabeedu Colony of the city were down with this kind of fever, but their child was normal till two days ago and suddenly collapsed this morning. The health officials, however, said that this was only a stray incident and there was no epidemic for the people to get disturbed. The Municipalq Corporation authorities began cleaning the stagnant drains in the colony and cleaned garbage.
