DEHRA DUN: Eleven members of a marriage party were killed and six seriously injured when the jeep in which they were travelling collided head-on with another vehicle and fell into a ravine in Rudraprayag district of Uttaranchal, police said here on Friday. The mishap took place near Dungar-Samela village of the district, about 150 km from here, when the marriage party was on its way from Bajnani village after the ceremony last night, they said. Eight persons died on the spot and others on way to the hospital, police said adding the jeep fell into a 150 metre deep khud due to the collision. - PTI
