NEW DELHI: Defending champion Zakir Husain College and runner-up Jamia Millia Islamia won their respective matches in the 19th Zakir Husain memorial football tournament at the Ambedkar Stadium here. Jamia Millia began its campaign with a 4-1 win against Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Vikaspuri in Group `B'. Leading 1-0 at half time, Jamia Millia scored through a brace each by Obed Kamei and Soreihor Rung Sung while Uttam Singh Negi reduced the margin for the loser. In a one-sided encounter, Zakir Husain College defeated inter-college champion Moti Lal Nehru College (Evening) 4-0. The scorers were Gaingmlung Kamei (2), Ankur Singh Bisht and Angom Saran Singh.
