Office bearers for IIPA

Pondicherry: Dr. R. R. Dhanapall (member of Executive Committee of Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) New Delhi) was elected unanimously the Chairman of the Pondicherry branch of the IIPA for the period 2006-2008 at the annual general body meeting of the branch here recently, according to a release from the IIPA.

Other office bearers are: A. Asokan the president of District Consumer Disputes redressal Forum (vice chairman), Pankaj Kumar Jha, the Deputy Secretary to Education (Secretary), Dr. S. Kumuda the Principal of Bharathidasan Government College for Women (treasurer) and R. Saisubramanian and P.Muthukrishnan (committee members).

The release said that the meeting adopted a resolution to request the Lt. Governor of Pondicherry and Chief Secretary of Pondicherry to become Chief Patron and Patron of the IIPA here respectively.
