State leaders pay homage to Annadurai

His 37th death anniversary observed

Pondicherry: Pondicherry Agriculture Minister A. Namassivayam paid homage on Friday at the statue of former Tamilnadu Chief Minister C. N. Annadurai on the occasion of the leader's 37th death anniversary.

Volunteers and leaders of different wings of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) headed by its convener and Leader of the opposition in the Assembly R. V. Janakiraman garlanded the statue of Anna. Legislators of the DMK, office bearers of its different wings were among those who participated.

The Secretary of the Pondicherry State unit of the AIADMK A. Anbalagan, led a team of his party men and leaders of its various wings to garland the statue of the leader at the end of a silent procession.

Representatives of the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK), Dravida Kazhagam, New Justice Party and host of other parties also paid homage at the statue.
