Special trains for Bahubali fete

HYDERABAD: The South Central Railway (SCR) is running special trains between Aurangabad and Mysore with fast timings to clear extra rush of pilgrims attending the Bahubali Mahamastabhiseka festival at Shravanabelagola in Karnataka.

Train no. 761 Aurangabad-Mysore special will leave Aurangabad at 4 p.m. on February 6, 12 and 17 and arrive at Mysore at 9 p.m. the following days. In the return direction, train no. 762 Mysore-Aurangabad special leaves Mysore at 5 a.m. on February 8, 14 and 19 and arrive at Aurangabad at 9.15 a.m. the following days. Both these trains will pass through Secunderabad and Kacheguda, according to a press release.

Surveillance system

The SCR has commissioned state-of-the-art surveillance system with seven fast dome cameras to help reduce theft and crime besides effective monitoring of rail passenger traffic.
