Man `dupes' jobless youngsters
A private placement agency owner Surya Teja alias Srinivas allegedly duped several jobless youngsters from Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh by collecting Rs. 40,000 per head with assurances to provide jobs overseas. Solanki and Riyaz Ahmed Khan approached the Narayanaguda police on Friday alleging that Teja of Himayathnagar disappeared after collecting the money. According to them, he asked them to come to his office and collect the visas and appointment orders two days ago. But, the office was found locked when they went to meet him.
SI manhandled?
A two-wheeler rider Matta Reddy allegedly manhandled Sub-Inspector of Abids traffic police station Vijay Srinivas when the later asked him to show vehicle documents at Narayanguda on Friday. Reddy was later handed over to the police.
