CHENNAI: Mainly dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu and dry weather prevailed over Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

The minimum temperature fell appreciably at one or two places over coastal Karnataka, Rayalaseema, rose markedly at one or two places over rest Rayalaseema, appreciably at one or two places over north Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka, rose at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu, Kerala, rest coastal Karnataka, rest Rayalaseema, coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little elsewhere over the region.

FORECAST (valid until Monday morning): Isolated rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and south Kerala. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, north Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Farmers Weather Bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (Forecast valid until the morning of 6th February 2006)): Isolated rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

Outlook: No significant change.
