Congress: vote in national interest

NEW DELHI : The Congress on Saturday said India's decision to vote against Iran at the IAEA meeting in Vienna was in the supreme national interest.

"India has taken a decision after deep thought and consideration keeping holistic perspective of diverse sectors," AICC spokesman Abishek Manu Singhvi said over phone from Mumbai. "It is India's assessment that it is the best decision in the supreme national interest of the country," he added.
