Yoga and naturopathy classes

Vishwa Samskruti Vidya Samsthan is starting fresh batches for its Sampoorna Yoga Sadhana and naturopathy classes from February 6. Assistance for research

The State Council of Education, Research and Training (SCERT) director has informed that financial assistance will be provided for teachers and teacher educators in the State for conduct of research on ongoing School Education programmes of the State. Workshop to discuss problems of weavers

Problems confronting the handloom weavers will be discussed at a two-day workshop being organised by the Andhra Pradesh Cheneta Karmika Sangham at Makhdoom Bhavan here on February 11 and 12. A. Narasimha Rao, president and Y. Ashok, general secretary said in a statement that the workshop would discuss the Government policies and recommendations made by the Rosaiah committee. It would finalise the agitation programme to be launched.

Entrepreneurship programme

The Small Industries Service Institute will organise a one-month Entrepreneurship Development Programme on two-wheeler servicing and maintenance (Hero Honda vehicles) from February 15 at the SISI campus at Narsapur Crossroads, Balanagar. The training will cover aspects of entrepreneurship, theoretical and practical hands on training in vehicle servicing and maintenance.

French classes

The new IDFA centre in Madhapur will offer French, German and Spanish classes from February 6.

The two-month duration language classes would be offered from 7 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. to 6 p.m and 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. for the convenience of students and working people.

An art exhibition showcasing paintings of French artist Elisabeth de Bengy reflecting the beautiful landscapes from different regions of France would be held in February last week, a release said.
