FATEHABAD: The Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, today said the Central Bureau of Investigation and other agencies were investigating the chargesheet, which was prepared by the Congress against the previous Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) government head by his predecessor Om Prakash Chautala. ``The Congress will not act with a feeling of revenge and political rivalry like the INLD government did'', he said while replying to queries of mediapersons at Mohamadpur Rohi village near here. He, however, made it clear that those found guilty as a result of the investigation would not be spared. In reply to another question, he said it was illogical for the INLD to oppose the decision of the state government to restore the name of Panipat Thermal Power Plant. The state government had deleted the name of Tau Devi Lal from the Thermal Plant few days back and renamed it as the Panipat Thermal Power Plant. This move had sparked protests from the INLD leadership. Mr Hooda said Panipat itself being a historical place was well known all over the world and therefore, it could not be bound with another name. While restoring the name of Panipat Thermal Plant, the Congress led Government has maintained the basic name of Panipat and a decision to this effect was taken by the State Cabinet and not any individual, he added. Mr Hooda visited the residence of MLA, Mr Dura Ram in village Mohamadpur Rohi to condole the death of his father, Mr Manphul Singh. He described late Mr Manphul Singh as a clean hearted and kind person. He also conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the members of the bereaved family. The Chief Minister said the dedicated workers and Legislators of the party would soon be appointed to hold the offices of Chairman and other posts in various organisations. He said a rally would be organised at Hisar on March 5, which would be attended by many Central leaders and the significant achievements made by his government during the year would be highlighted in the rally.
Edusat launch
As many as 151 schools of Haryana would be connected to Edusat from April one and all 1102 senior secondary schools would be connected to this system during the academic session 2007-08.
