HUBLI: Narayan Nadamani, Commissioner of Police, Hubli-Dharwad, has suspended a police head constable for allegedly demanding money from a citizen during an enquiry in connection with his passport application. Mr. Nadamani has given the name of the head constable as Sangannavar working at the Vidyanagar Police Station. Disciplinary action has been taken against the inspector of the Vidyanagar Police Station. It is said the head constable had asked for money from Devinandan Rao of Mumbai.
