Sangareddy : With the Communists and the Bharatiya Janata party saying no objection to Telangana, now the Congress should clear its intentions, Union Minister for State and TRS leader A. Narendra said at a press conference here today. The Congress should stop the blame game and introduce the bill in the coming Parliament session, Mr. Narendra said and warned the Congress that failure to do so would spell doom for the party (Congress) in Telangana.
Denies reports
On his controversial invitation to Maoists to fight for Telangana, Mr. Narendra denied it. The TRS would be willing to work with Maoists if they shun violence, he said. He also denied that he ever asked the cadre to get tough with dissidents. About his absence at the launch of the `Indiramma' programme at Wasar, Mr. Narendra alleged that he was not invited to the meeting while Sangareddy legislator T. Jayaprakash Reddy was welcome to the official function. "I think officials and even the Chief Minister doesn't know the protocol." Addressing party workers, Mr. Narendra made it clear that the party would neither suspend nor expel Mr. Jayaprakash Reddy.
