Gangadharan clinches title

MADURAI: K.B. Gangadharan of Madurai Kamaraj University College won the boys' above-15 years title in the Madurai District Open chess tournament for boys and girls conducted by MDCA in association with S.D.H. Jain Vidyalaya MHSS here on Sunday.

The results: Boys: Above-15: 1.K.B. Gangadharan (MKU College) 4/4, 2. U. Venkatesh (MMC) 4, 3. M. Balamurugan (Yadava College) 3.
