A law graduate, Mr. Kak has served as Superintendent of Police in sensitive Pratapgarh, Mathura, Ghaziabad and Lucknow districts of Uttar Pradesh. He also served in the Central Bureau of Investigation from December 1980 to March 1985. During this tenure, he investigated the infamous Bhagalpur blinding case. Since 2003 he has been serving as Director-General of Fire Service in U.P.
`Women being empowered'
