Aim for 10 p.c. growth: Montek

NEW DELHI: Enthused by the growth projection of 8.1 per cent for the current fiscal, the Planning Commission on Tuesday exhorted the nation to aim for 10 per cent during 2006-07.

Planning Commission's Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia said: "We have always thought that we are bouncing back. The 8.1 per cent growth projection is an extremely welcome outcome, and we will aim for even better."
