MANGALORE: U.R. Chandar's dedication to his profession was there for all to see. Such artistes are rare to find, Amruth Someshwar, writer, has said.

Participating in a programme at Ullal on Sunday organised by Sarvajanika Sri Sharada Utsava Samiti to pay tributes to U.R. Chandar, a member of the Karnataka State Nataka Academy, who passed away recently, Mr. Someshwar said Chandar had all the characteristics of an artiste.
