MANGALORE: Tension prevailed in Bajal-Faisalnagar on Tuesday evening following a clash between two groups of youths. According to Superintendent of Police B. Dayanand, some boys belonging to a particular community assaulted a boy belonging to another community in the morning. In the evening, a group of youths tried to avenge the attack on their friend, and in the melee two persons suffered injuries. They have been admitted to Wenlock and Omega hospitals, where they are being treated for minor wounds. Mr. Dayananda told police personnel have been posted in the area and the situation is under control.
