NCP alleges discrepancies in electoral rolls

PANAJI: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has brought to the notice of the Chief Electoral Officer alleged discrepancies and irregularities in the ongoing interim revision of the electoral rolls.

Addressing presspersons here on Thursday, NCP Goa unit President and Deputy Chief Minister Wilfred de Souza pointed out several instances of alleged discrepancies in the work undertaken by the Election Commission staff.

Pointing out that the name of his constituency, Saligao, was spelt wrongly, he said there are discrepancies with regard to locations, names, house numbers and election photo identity card numbers.
