CHENNAI: Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

The minimum temperature rose appreciably at one or two places over Telangana, coastal and south Interior Karnataka, rose at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, rest coastal Karnataka, rest Telangana and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were markedly to appreciably below normal at one or two places over north interior Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, appreciably below normal at one or two places over Telangana, Kerala, below normal at a few places over rest Tamil Nadu, rest Kerala, rest Rayalaseema and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

FORECAST (valid until Saturday morning): Isolated light rain is likely to occur over coastal Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. Mainly dry weather will prevail over interior Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (valid until the morning of 11th February 2006): Isolated light rain is likely to occur over coastal Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. Mainly sunny weather will prevail over interior Tamil Nadu.
