Now, Mahatma can see no evil

Even as the Mahatma is being hailed as the Father of our Nation, in Kulithalai, the status of a statue of the great leader has been source of concern for all right-minded citizens.

The prominent Gandhi statue in the Kulithalai bus stand, or whatever goes for it, stands encircled by numerous flag masts of political parties — from his own Congress to the recent addition to politics, the Desiya Murpokku Dravidar Kazhagam.
