Tatas offer rental-free fixed wireless

NEW DELHI: Tata Teleservices on Thursday offered lifetime validity on its pre-paid fixed wireless phone "Walky'' along with a lower rate for local calls at 90 paise for three minutes. Terming it "Walky Life,'' the Tatas have launched the service initially in Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. This comes with a one-time entry fee of Rs. 3,200.
