JAIPUR: A large number of industrial establishments, including several multinational companies, evinced a keen interest in making investments in Rajasthan at a business promotion camp of Rajasthan Financial Corporation (RFC) in New Delhi on Wednesday. Deliberations on projects worth Rs. 300 crores were held at the camp and loans of Rs. 10 crores were sanctioned on the spot. The Chairman and Managing Director of RFC, Karni Singh Rathore, held discussions on industrial and trade-related projects with about 150 entrepreneurs in the camp. The units proposed to be established in the industrial areas of the State were those of food processing, electronic items, steel tubes and packaging items. Mr. Rathore said while several entrepreneurs were keen on purchasing the units acquired by RFC, several others affected by the Supreme Court's verdict for shifting their units out of the national Capital gave priority to Rajasthan and enquired about the scope of establishing industries in the State.
