Rosaiah rules out fresh taxes

VISAKHAPATNAM: There will be no fresh taxes in the State budget proposals to be presented in the Assembly later next week, according to Finance Minister K. Rosaiah.

``I can't venture imposing fresh taxes. Nor do we propose to increase taxes. All we do is to intensify the tax collection drive,'' he said here on Thursday.
